Job summary

New Hanover County Schools is seeking a Tutor to provide tutorial services to help students better understand subject matter and improve academic capabilities. You will work under the supervision of a Teacher or Principal to support instructional goals.

Ten-month work year, at-will employment, and non-exempt status apply. Starting salary will align with the Classified Tutor Pay Scale and district pay practices.

Qualifications

• High School degree with 48 semester hours college coursework or an Associate degree.
• Experience with students preferred.
• Other qualifications as the Superintendent and Board of Education may find appropriate.
