Weber State University is seeking a part-time Tutor - Academic (Ogden Learning Center) to assist students in Zoology, Physics, Psychology, and other subjects. The role involves tutoring on an appointment or drop-in basis at the Ogden campus.
Earn hourly pay with three certification levels that increase pay, and potential Lead Tutor responsibilities. You must be a WSU student with a 3.0 GPA and complete Levels I & II of CRLA training.

Tutor WSU students in the subjects you propose at the Learning Center as part of the Learning Support department. Tutoring is done on an individual appointment and/or drop-in basis. Availability for appointments and/or drop-in hours are determined by the tutor. We require and provide training in tutoring techniques. In your application, please indicate the specific subject(s) you are interested in tutoring.
May include hours spent outside the center serving as a Learning Assistant in a related course, if applicable and of interest.
This position offers three levels of certification, which reflect the depth of the training the tutor receives. Each level comes with a rate increase.
Please note that the Lead Tutor position is contingent upon the tutoring center’s needs and requires formal approval from the coordinator.
This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
