The tutor will assist teachers and students in varied classroom activities. The tutor will work with students under a teacher's direction. Will plan, implement and assess services to provide interventions for students.

This position requires an endorsement from the DMV to transport students in the school van. Candidates without a van (V) or activity (A) endorsement may be considered if they obtain such credentials within the 90 days after the hire date.

Required Physical Effort

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk at assigned location(s) for extended periods; frequently bend/stoop, kneel, and maintain balance; climb and reach above shoulder level; push/pull, squat, and crouch as needed.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Ability to operate a multi-passenger van safely for extended periods throughout the day to transport students.
• Additional hours may be required before or after the scheduled workday, depending on district needs.
• Experience driving under a CDL preferred
• Subject to random drug testing

Employment Conditions

- 6.5 hrs per day, 5 days per week - $26.40/hour
