Job summary

HH Staffing is seeking an experienced Make-Ready Technician to join our apartment community maintenance team in Port Saint Lucie, FL. This role prepares vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing unit turns efficiently and to company quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have prior apartment maintenance experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm; pay $22-$24/hour; full-time; temporary.

Qualifications

• Must have basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turns within designated timelines.
• Perform basic maintenance repairs including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Replace fixtures, hardware, light bulbs, and smoke detector batteries as needed.
• Patch and paint walls, touch up interiors, and prepare units for move-in.
• Complete appliance inspections and minor repairs.
• Ensure apartments are clean, safe, and move-in ready.
• Assist with groundskeeping and general property upkeep when needed.
• Report maintenance concerns and supply needs to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
