Motiva is seeking a Sr. Turnaround Scheduler to lead the planning, development, and execution of complex turnaround schedules at its Port Arthur facility.

The role requires coordination across operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractors to minimize downtime while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of experience in large-scale industrial settings, with strong expertise in maintenance planning, sequencing, and scheduling processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a large-scale industrial complex.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning, manpower loading, sequencing, resource leveling, scheduling, and milestones.
• Knowledge of maintenance, production, planning, and scheduling processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimization of integrated turnaround schedules.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Planning teams.
• Establish and manage critical path activities with risk mitigation.
• Monitor schedule performance using KPIs and variances.
• Coordinate daily turnaround activities and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Interface with contractors and vendors for mobilization and demobilization.
• Support cost and resource forecasting by aligning schedules with budgets.
• Serve as primary point of contact for turnaround scheduling communications.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout all phases.
• Provide leadership during execution, including emergency response and real-time adjustments.
