Job summary

Chevron is seeking a Turnaround Execution Coordinator in El Segundo, CA to safely plan and execute refinery turnarounds, partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, Technical, and contractor teams. This role drives incident-free operations, milestone-driven meetings, and cost-effective execution within the IMPACT framework.

The candidate will develop FEL plans, manage budgets, monitor KPIs, and ensure readiness across all turnaround phases, including closeout and lessons learned, while

Qualifications

• Experience in refinery, petrochemical, chemical, manufacturing, or heavy industrial maintenance.
• Knowledge of maintenance work practices, safe work processes, and field coordination.
• Ability to lead employees, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams during maintenance or turnaround activities.
• Understanding of planning, scheduling, resource management, cost control, and execution management principles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance and incident-free operations.
• Lead field audits, safety meetings, tailgates, incident investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Support turnaround scope development, validation, prioritization, and justification processes.
• Develop and communicate Front-End Loading plans, including contracting strategies and permitting requirements.
• Coordinate ownership and execution of pre-turnaround and turnaround work activities with Capital Project teams.
