Job summary

Akima Global Logistics seeks a Warehouse Specialist to handle receiving, storage, accountability, and distribution for Army equipment turn-ins. You will ensure proper documentation, staging, and safeguarding of materiel in line with Army regulations and contract requirements.

You will support supply technicians, maintain accurate inventory, and assist with audits and PARs while operating forklifts and MHE in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience accepted.
• 2–4 years warehouse/logistics experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Army turn-in procedures and supply regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify equipment turned in from Army units.
• Inspect and code items before storage or disposition.
• Coordinate staging and movement of items to warehouse areas.
• Store and organize items in designated locations per regulations.
• Maintain inventory records and daily activity logs.
• Operate forklifts and MHE safely for movement and staging.
• Assist in audits and Property Accountability Reviews (PARs).
