Qualifications

• Team oriented and able to lead a crew.
• Knowledge of turf care including IPM, aeration, fertilization and turf renovation.
• Experience with irrigation and low voltage lighting systems.
• Min 3 years field experience; min 2 years handling pesticides as trained/licensed.
• Industry certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, efficient, and positive working environment for all team members.
• Oversee turf care practices: site analysis, soil sampling, IPM, core aeration, insect/weed control, fertilization, turf renovation and repair.
• Understand client wants and monthly service schedule; maintain communication with them.
• Ensure high quality and professional service and complete all paperwork accurately.
• Plan for contingencies (weather, personnel, equipment) and manage time effectively.
• Coach and evaluate team members; enforce company policy when needed.
• Operate and maintain equipment and diagnose turf/plant problems with options.
• Troubleshoot irrigation and lighting issues; handle pesticides safely.
