Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax preparation, tax advice, and software support, while building a local client base and engaging with the community.

You will serve as a trusted advisor in-person, helping customers navigate tax needs and maximize refunds, with a focus on creating long-term relationships and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in front-facing retail.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be able to work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, minimum 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and engaging with prospects.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, including complex tax situations.
• Influence local marketing efforts and grow the client base through community outreach and referrals.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using available resources and communicate in clear, everyday language.
