Job summary

Intuit Careers is hiring energetic TurboTax - Local Service Experts to perform on-site tax preparation, provide expert guidance, and expand the local client base. You will collaborate with a team of specialists to deliver end-to-end TurboTax support and advisory services in person and online.

Role emphasizes building long-term client relationships, leveraging Intuit resources, and offering solutions across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state Form 1040s per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours/week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time; flexible during peak seasons.
• Must be willing to complete required training and wear Intuit uniforms; may be featured in advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; bilingual skills a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow the TurboTax client base through outreach and partnerships.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning) to address needs.
• Build relationships to turn one-time transactions into long-term client engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual interactions.
