Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax advice and complete returns at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will grow the local client base, foster community partnerships, and connect clients with Intuit’s full ecosystem of services for year‑round support.

The role requires credentials (EA/CPA/Attorney), a valid PTIN, 3+ years filing 1040s, on-site availability 20+ hours/week, and a willingness to train and grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Active credentials: EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with tax prep experience.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location 20+ hours per week (8:00–17:00).
• Willingness to complete required training and development; uniforms provided; advertising photos may be used.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Grow local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals and community partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning and advisory services.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via Intuit video tools.
• Collaborate with specialists to deliver end-to-end support and a seamless client journey.
