Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax advice and full-service preparation in new TurboTax locations across the U.S. You will work with a team of financial experts to deliver end-to-end Intuit experiences, leveraging marketing tools and resources to grow the local client base.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon-Fri, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willingness to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willingness to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Connect clients with complementary Intuit services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Grow TurboTax’s client base locally by identifying prospects and building long-term relationships.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience and assist clients in person or via Intuit’s video tools.
