Intuit Careers is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to perform on-site tax preparation and expert guidance at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will work with a team of financial professionals to deliver personalized, end-to-end tax solutions and help clients understand complex tax scenarios.

This role emphasizes community engagement, local growth, and cross-functional collaboration with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning resources.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorneys with strong tax prep knowledge preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per season with professional software (Circular 230 familiarity).
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping/payroll/advisory with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00 local time, at least 20 hours/week. Hours may scale in peak tax season.
• Must complete required training and development; proscribed compliance/upskilling; cross-training may occur.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing service.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling personal and business returns, deductions, amendments.
• Grow local client base through outreach, referrals, and community events with TurboTax marketing support.
• Connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, planning, or Credit Karma within the Intuit ecosystem to address broader needs.
• Deliver end-to-end client experiences and ensure customers leave with a clear financial path.
