Intuit seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and personalized tax advice at TurboTax locations nationwide, serving both in-person and virtual clients with a collaborative team. You will deliver end-to-end tax services and leverage Intuit resources to help clients achieve financial goals.

You will also grow the local client base, connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax software. Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency-based up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments).
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Embark on a community ambassador mindset to actively grow a local customer base for TurboTax through outreach, events, referrals, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build lasting relationships by understanding the client’s complete financial picture and delivering year-round support.
