Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville is seeking a Turbomachinery Product Team Lead for BE-3U. You will own turbomachinery development and production milestones while partnering with operations, quality, and other product leaders to improve cost, performance, reliability, and lead time.

You will hire and lead engineers, manage schedule and budget, analyze non-conformances, and drive data-driven decisions to accelerate manufacturing and flight readiness.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering is required.
• 7+ years in rocket engine development or aerospace systems.
• 3+ years of project and people management experience.
• Ability to plan complex programs with multiple interfaces.
• Desire to lead small teams on fast-paced projects.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• U.S. citizen/national or lawful status.

Responsibilities

• Own turbomachinery development and production milestones for BE-3U.
• Hire, develop, and lead a team of engineers.
• Identify constraints and resolve defects at the root.
• Define and action KPIs to measure team success.
• Manage turbomachinery budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with operations and quality for improvements.
• Mitigate risks and remove blockers across the program.
• Communicate clearly across levels to align goals.
