Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a software engineering leader to guide a team developing, deploying, and sustaining next‑generation engineering software design systems. You will partner with engineering design teams to deliver cleaner, more accessible energy and drive continuous improvement across projects.

You will manage staffing, oversee performance, and drive tool strategy, while ensuring robust code reviews, documentation, and agile practices align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM majors from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering or analytical role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of software developers with day-to-day oversight and resource allocation.
• Own capacity planning and staffing decisions and communicate availability to leadership.
• Drive tools strategy and roadmap with engineers, designers, and end users.
• Enforce best practices including code reviews and documentation standards.
• Pursue training to elevate team capabilities through formal training and certifications.
• Act as primary liaison for stakeholder communication and status updates.
