Job summary

GE Vernova seeks an experienced systems engineer to drive design changes and turbine operation improvements for both warranty and core fleets. You will partner with program managers and product lines to guide optimal design decisions and lead technical teams in system trade-offs and cost-focused optimizations.

The role requires a strong engineering background with wind turbine system experience, excellent communication, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of significant experience in Engineering/Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience working on wind turbine system and/or services related projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute design and turbine operation changes to eliminate causes of turbine forced outages in warranty and core fleet.
• Identify and develop programs to reduce downtime and return units to service.
• Guide optimal design decisions with Program Management and Product Line for current and new products.
• Lead technical program teams on system trade-offs and cost-focused optimizations.
• Communicate analyses and recommendations to internal and external audiences.
