Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Six years of relevant experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with eight years of related experience.
• Experience leading maintenance activities in power generation or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience with turbine-generator maintenance or outages.
• Unionized environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate daily work activities.
• Oversee turbine, generator, and rotating equipment maintenance and reliability.
• Coordinate planned outages and emergent repairs with scopes, schedules, and resources.
• Direct contractor activities and ensure safety, quality, and cost controls.
• Manage operating budgets, forecast labor, materials, and contractor needs.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to employees and apprentices.
• Drive continuous improvement using RCA, Lean, Six Sigma, or HPI methods.
