Job summary

Alliant Energy is seeking a Lead Maintenance and Reliability Specialist to maximize the reliability and efficiency of our generation assets. You will lead maintenance programs, develop predictive strategies, and mentor the team to ensure safe, effective operations at our generating facilities.

The role requires deep experience with large rotating equipment and advanced maintenance practices, plus collaboration with engineering and operations staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in maintenance/reliability or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of technical/professional experience with 7+ years in generating equipment and maintenance methods.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, plans, and implements predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
• Develops equipment inspection plans and predictive maintenance plans.
• Provides technical support and guidance to maintenance and reliability coordinators.
• Enters data to maintain maintenance work backlog and equipment databases.
• Analyzes predictive maintenance test results and reviews others’ results.
