Job summary

New York Power Authority seeks an experienced maintenance operations supervisor to oversee daily management and coordination of plant and facility operations, ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with process specifications.

You will direct budgets for maintenance and capital projects, lead planning and scheduling of preventive and corrective work, and supervise craft personnel while upholding safety and labor relations standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Associate's degree in a related industry.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• 10 years of experience in applicable field.
• Experience supervising craft personnel, preferred.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of maintenance department(s); prepare and monitor the day-to-day work activities of the crafts.
• Implement MRM and Asset Management policies and procedures.
• Provide input to planning, scheduling and evaluation of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor, review and evaluate methods, procedures and practices for maintenance programs.
• Manage departmental budget and staff development; supervise union employees.
