Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Shippingport, PA, seeks a scheduler to develop, maintain and update multi-discipline project schedules for turbine generator outages in support of the Long-Range Plan.

The role also archives schedules after completion, scopes work, coordinates with on-site and off-site teams, and reports the schedule status to leadership.

Travel is required to support fleet outages and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related technical field (preferred) or High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of power plant scheduling experience.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and other scheduling tools.
• General understanding of nuclear operation, practices and processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update multi-discipline project schedules for turbine generator outage implementation windows.
• Archive project schedules after completion of the project.
• Scoping of scheduled work, scheduling of equipment, materials and onsite/offsite resources, and resource leveling.
• Coordinate and schedule activities to minimize plant downtime and risk.
• Attend project stakeholder meetings and report out on the schedule.
• Assist in the development and updating of Project Health Reports for PRC meetings.
