Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an experienced engineer to own the complete turbine airfoil casting approval workflow. You will coordinate inputs from Engineering, Quality, Materials, and Suppliers to ensure timely approvals, track status, and escalate delays while maintaining open communication with leadership.

The role requires a STEM degree and multiple years of engineering experience, with preference for aerospace knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science/Tech/Engineering/Math).
• 5 years engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree.
• Experience with Agile methodology and project management tools (Smartsheet, SAP, Primavera, MS Project).
• Experience managing budgets and schedules; coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Experience tracking project workflows and approvals.
• Experience with airfoils.
• Experience integrating lessons learned and process capability data into project changes.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the complete 56C approval workflow for turbine airfoil casting hardware.
• Coordinate inputs from Engineering, Quality, Materials, and Suppliers to ensure timely approvals.
• Track status, escalate delays, and communicate with leadership.
• Ensure changes incorporate lessons learned, process capability data, and yield-impact risk.
• Support cross-functional teams to meet technical and project requirements.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to align with organizational goals.
• Provide updates on project status and risks to stakeholders.
