Job summary

AECOM, a global infrastructure leader, seeks a Tunnel Director / Regional Tunnel Practice Leader in New York. You will lead complex tunneling projects and grow our internationally recognized practice, directing multidisciplinary teams and engaging clients to deliver value.

The role offers hybrid work and requires a BA/BS with 12+ years experience including 4 years in leadership; a Master’s in engineering and PE license are preferred for this senior position.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 12 years of relevant experience, incl. 4 years in leadership.
• Master’s degree in engineering preferred; PE license is highly preferred.
• Proven experience leading large, multidisciplinary tunneling teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary tunneling teams on large projects.
• Oversee delivery, ensuring quality, safety, budget, and schedule goals.
• Develop client relationships and support business development.
• Mentor and develop tunneling team members.
• Represent AECOM at conferences and promote technical leadership.
