Job summary

Explore Brainerd Lakes is seeking team members to support tubing operations in a seasonal/part-time or full-time capacity. The role involves operating and monitoring tubing activities, adhering to safety procedures, and maintaining the work area, including shoveling, raking, and setting up cones and signage.

Staff will assist guests on the tubing magic carpet and must be prepared to work outdoors in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Must be 14 years or older
• Must commit to a minimum of one shift per week (preferably more)
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor all aspects of tubing operation.
• Carry out and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain designated areas (shoveling, raking, setting up cones/signage).
• Assist and instruct guests on tubing magic carpet.
• Report accidents and equipment issues to management.
• Attend required tubing operations training and employee training.
• Document daily operations and maintenance timetable logs.
• Check the ticket of each guest before tubing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Seasonal, Part-time OR full-time hours available.

Operate and monitor all aspects of tubing operation.

Carry out and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Maintain designated areas which may include: shoveling, raking, setting up cones/lift maize or signage.

Assist and instruct Mount Ski Gull guests when they are tubing magic carpet.

Alert Ski Patrol of any accidents that may occur. Document and report accidents to Management.

Report all equipment failures, complaints, or concerns to the Outdoor Supervisor and Management.

Attend a required tubing operations training by Mount Ski Gull and employee training.

Carry out and document all procedures for completing the daily operations and maintenance timetable logs provided by management.

Check the ticket of each guest every time they tube.

Required to work outside in a variety of elements.

Required to maintain flexibility in role and scheduling.

Available to work weekends and holidays.

All other duties as assigned.
