Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to translate engineering intent into actionable manufacturing steps and to support assembly, integration, and test on the floor in a hands-on role.

The role involves developing work instructions, resolving discrepancies, and driving DFMA initiatives across the product life cycle while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree from an accredited university.
• Open to work extended hours if required.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering intent, drawings, and configurations into fully functional hardware.
• Support the manufacturing floor in assembly and integration, ensuring compliance with engineering requirements and testing.
• Serve as a liaison between design, test, manufacturing, and operations in a hands-on engineering role.
• Develop manufacturing work instructions covering receiving inspection, fabrication, assembly, integration, test, and refurbishment.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering (other relevant fields may apply) from an accredited university
