Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer to showcase Tube Laser technology and support customers through the purchase journey. You will demonstrate machine options, prepare program demonstrations, and assist during the production startup phase where needed.

Strong communication, prior experience with tube design, and proficiency in SolidWorks and MS Office are required. Occasional travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with tube laser technology and ability to demonstrate machine options to customers.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with customers and sales networks.
• Experience in programming/ designing/ operating production equipment.
• Proficient in Solid modeling software and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Serve as expert for TruLaser Tube technology and machine options.
• Conduct customer demonstrations and industry trade shows.
• Evaluate parts and create programs to demonstrate tube laser capabilities.
• Collaborate with designers to leverage tube laser processing benefits.
• Generate time estimates, recommend product selections, and produce sample parts.
• Provide application support and training for customers on-site or by phone.
• Travel to customer sites (approx. 20-30%) to support sales and production processes.
