Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer to lead customer product demonstrations and support during and after installation. You will work with sales and applications teams to showcase TRUMPF bending technology and provide startup and production support at customer sites.

The role requires sheet metal experience or TRUMPF product knowledge, CAD, programming skills, and strong communication abilities. Expect travel to the USA, Mexico, and Canada up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Sheet metal experience or TRUMPF product knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with CAD, programming and machine tool product knowledge is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal are required due to extensive customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform product demonstrations and time studies for sales and applications.
• Provide customer applications support and post-installation production startup assistance.
• Travel about 25% with focus in USA, Mexico and Canada.
