Ferco Aerospace in Greenwood, IN is seeking a skilled Tube Fabricator for the 1st shift. This full-time role focuses on precision metal work, reading blueprints, and assembling aerospace tubes to tight tolerances in a collaborative shop.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical work that requires fitting, alignment and adjustment of aerospace components and tubes to close tolerances.
Stretch, bend, straighten, shape, pound, or press metal to specification using tools and machines such as hammer, lathes, mills, surface grinders.
May perform troubleshooting and rework of production items.
Work from complex blueprints with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following and possess the following:

Prior experience in Manufacturing
Perform mechanical work that typically requires fitting, alignment and adjustment of aerospace components and tubes to very close tolerances.
Stretch, bend, straighten, shape, pound, or press metal to specification using various tools and machines such as hammer, lathes, mills, surface grinders, etc.
May perform some troubleshooting and rework of production items.
Must be able to work from complex and detailed blueprints and/or verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
Ability to multi-task
Basic machining skills
Ability to use precision measuring tools
Good work ethic
Willing to lean
High School Diploma or GED required -Proof will be required during onboarding.
