Job summary

Ferco Aerospace in Greenwood, IN is seeking a skilled Tube Fabricator for the 1st shift. This full-time role focuses on precision metal work, reading blueprints, and assembling aerospace tubes to tight tolerances in a collaborative shop.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED; proof will be required during onboarding.
• Able to read complex blueprints and follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical work that requires fitting, alignment and adjustment of aerospace components and tubes to close tolerances.
• Stretch, bend, straighten, shape, pound, or press metal to specification using tools and machines such as hammer, lathes, mills, surface grinders.
• May perform troubleshooting and rework of production items.
• Work from complex blueprints with minimal supervision.
