Qualifications

Job Description

This role involves assembling, testing, and packaging electro-mechanical products in a lean manufacturing environment. You will work with small parts, use hand tools, and follow detailed visual and written work instructions to build customer-specific configurations. The position requires consistent attention to quality, the ability to perform basic testing of circuit boards, and collaboration with team members in a rotating production cell.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble electro-mechanical products using small parts and hand tools according to visual and written work instructions.
  • Work within a production cell to test, build, and package products in a lean manufacturing and kanban environment.
  • Perform basic go/no-go testing of circuit boards to verify functionality and identify nonconforming units.
  • Carry out wire bonding and RF soldering tasks for sub-assemblies as part of the build process.
  • Use customer-specific work instructions to add the correct components and configurations to each product.
  • Package finished products accurately and stage them for shipping in accordance with established procedures.
  • Notify material handlers promptly when part shortages or material issues arise.
  • Lift and move items up to 35 pounds as part of daily production activities.
  • Stand for extended periods while performing assembly, testing, and packaging tasks.
  • Use a computer to access work instructions, record production data, and support basic documentation requirements.
  • Rotate between teams and tasks within the production cell as needed to support workflow and production goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work area while following all safety and quality guidelines.
Essential Skills
  • Hands-on assembly experience, including working with small parts and mechanical assemblies.
  • Proficiency using hand tools in a production or assembly environment.
  • Experience with general production, assembly line work, or assembly production.
  • Ability to perform basic testing, including go/no-go testing of circuit boards.
  • Capability to perform soldering tasks, including RF soldering and wire bonding for sub-assemblies.
  • Comfort with packaging products and preparing them for shipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as part of regular job duties.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday.
  • Strong English understanding to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Ability to use a computer to follow instructions and complete basic production-related tasks.
  • Some experience in production of small parts or similar manufacturing work.
  • Ability to provide references for the last five jobs or the past seven years, as required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
