Job Title: Small Parts Assembler | 1st Shift | $17-19+HR
Join a clean, regulated production environment where you assemble small electronic components and retail-ready products using detailed work instructions and hand tools. You will handle delicate parts, follow step-by-step assembly processes, and perform quality checks to ensure each device meets strict standards before packaging and shipment.
Assemble small electronic components and devices by following detailed work orders, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
Place conductive tape on battery contacts using tweezers with precision and care.
Attach batteries onto circuit boards and ensure secure and accurate placement.
Staple and flatten staples as part of the assembly process, maintaining consistent quality.
Turn devices on, remove bottom cover release liners, and place assemblies into carriers according to instructions.
Place circuit assemblies on bottom covers and ensure proper alignment and fit.
Scan circuit 2D barcodes to track components and maintain accurate production records.
Place foil pouches on carriers and verify that foil pouch labels and Patch IDs match the corresponding circuit IDs.
Apply foil pouch labels to foil pouches and confirm that top cover Patch IDs match circuit IDs.
Attach top covers to bottom covers and seal along the perimeter to ensure secure closure.
Turn circuits off at the appropriate stage of the process to maintain safety and product integrity.
Perform scanning, quality control determinations, and final inspections to ensure each unit meets specifications.
Previous small parts assembly experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Experience with electrical assembly, including working with circuit boards and related components.
Ability to use hand tools such as tweezers, staplers, and other basic assembly tools with precision.
Experience working from blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
Familiarity with assembly line work and bench-style production setups.
Ability to follow schematics or detailed instructions for circuit board and small part assembly.
Capability to perform repetitive tasks with high attention to detail and quality.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs safely as part of daily duties.
Reliability and availability with no more than one personal obligation during the next six weeks, ensuring consistent attendance.
You will work in a very clean, well-organized environment that follows high regulatory standards, giving you confidence in the safety and professionalism of your workplace. This role is based in a very clean, FDA-regulated work environment with a strong focus on hygiene, organization, and safety. You will work on a day shift from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, seated on the same line (bench) as other assemblers while having your own individual seat and workspace. The work involves handling small electronic components, circuit boards, and packaging materials using hand tools and barcode scanners. At certain stages of the assembly process, you may be required to wear gloves, gowns, and hair nets to maintain cleanliness and comply with regulatory standards. The environment is structured and process-driven, with consistent workflows and an assembly line setup, and you may need to lift up to 25 lbs as part of your daily tasks.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westlake, OH.
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
