Job summary

Olé Mexican Foods is seeking a Territory Sales Representative in West Valley City, UT to drive growth and build lasting retail partnerships across the Lafayette territory. You will manage established sales routes and lead our sales drivers with a fast-paced, independent field environment.

The role requires 1+ years in retail or field sales; bilingual Spanish is highly preferred; a Bachelor's degree is nice-to-have. We offer 401(k) with company matching and comprehensive health benefits.

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Territory Sales Representative to drive growth and build lasting retail partnerships across the Lafayette territory. In this role, you will be the face of Olé Mexican Foods. You will manage established sales routes, lead and support our sales drivers, and secure new business opportunities. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Drive Account Growth: Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to maximize profitability, secure premium display space, and exceed territory sales goals.
• Build Strong Partnerships: Cultivate trusted relationships with store managers, key retail decision-makers, and chain District Managers through regular, high-impact site visits.
• Lead & Align Route Teams: Coach and align company sales drivers with organizational goals. Conduct weekly strategy updates and ensure training documentation is flawlessly executed.
• Expand Market Presence: Actively identify sales leads, manage prospects, and secure new business to continuously expand our brand footprint.
• Optimize Store Performance: Conduct store audits to minimize out-of-stocks, optimize inventory, and ensure excellent visual merchandising without product credits.
• Ensure Operational Excellence: Manage route logistics, maintain vehicle and inventory compliance, and actively participate in required weekly safety programs.

What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills)

• Field Experience: 1+ years of experience in retail, CPG, or field-based sales. A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• Communication & Language: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using modern tools (smartphones, tablets, emails, and Microsoft Office) to track goals and communicate with leadership.
• Self-Starter Mindset: Highly organized with exceptional time-management skills to balance store service demands and proactive lead generation.
• Role Requirements:
  • Must be at least 23 years of age with a valid driver's license, full-coverage insurance, and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) to operate a company vehicle.
  • Ability to lift and carry 20 to 40 lbs, work in both indoor and outdoor store environments, and adhere to standard physical safety guidelines (e.g., proper lifting techniques).
