Job summary

Constellation Technologies, Inc. seeks a highly qualified SA/System Engineer to support DoD-related IT infrastructure with an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent SA experience, plus extensive experience across lifecycle stages of engineering systems. Responsibilities include Tier 1/2 help desk, system configuration, troubleshooting, and security tooling such as ELK, Tripwire, VMware, and SELinux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required or five (5) years of SA experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience as an SA in programs of similar scope, type and complexity at Level 2 (10 years) is required.
• Infrastructure experience installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and using system security tools and reporting tools.
• Experience with ELK, Tripwire, VMware, and RedHat SELinux security tool suite.
• Must provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for IT systems and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems and assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
• Coordinate escalation and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
• Optimize system operations, resources, and perform capacity analysis and planning.
