Job summary

Constellation Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Systems Administrator to support a federal contract in Maryland. The role focuses on Linux/Windows, AD, VMWare, security, and incident response, with travel as needed.

U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph are required. Eight to fourteen years of direct experience, a technical degree, and strong knowledge of security protocols are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• 8 to 14 years of direct/relevant experience.
• Experience as a systems administrator supporting end users and developers.
• Proficient with Windows Server 2019 and Active Directory.
• Experience with software/hardware deployment, patches, backups.
• Familiarity with SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds, Nessus.
• Knowledge of Red Hat and VMware, security protocols, and virtualization.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to end users and technical staff.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and reimage hardware.
• Maintain security practices and information security principles.
• Support client and server virtualization environments.
