Job summary

Peraton is hiring an Enterprise Infrastructure Support Systems Administrator (SA) to join our Cyber Mission unit in Jessup, MD, for a full-time, on-site role supporting one of the largest enterprise contracts. You will design, document, and implement system solutions across Linux/Unix/Windows, virtualization, and network components.

Required are a technical degree or equivalent experience, DoD IAM Level I, TS/SCI with poly, and 1+ year in modern OS/network architectures, with strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with five years SA experience; or HS diploma with ten years SA experience.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher is required.
• At least one year of modern OS and network architectures experience.
• Experience in certification and accreditation, architecture development and IA Metrics.
• Ability to optimize system operation and perform capacity planning.
• Ability to break down complex problems and chart actionable plans.
• Configure and manage Linux/Unix/Windows OS and related software.
• Manage virtual servers via VMware or similar hypervisors; TS/SCI with polygraph active.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise-wide engineering contract in a customer location.
• Create bills of materials, network designs and diagrams, and other installation docs.
• Collaborate with network, storage, and server teams on new/updated solutions.
• Respond to capacity and user requirements; plan power, space, cooling, and funding.
