Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission unit in Jessup, MD. This full-time role supports a major intelligence community contract at a customer site.

You will define operations, requirements and use cases, perform high-level system design, and contribute to test plans and installations. The position requires advanced engineering degrees or equivalent experience, plus an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience is defined as in engineering systems over their lifecycle, incl. conception, design, testing, deployment, operation and support.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• A background in systems engineering across lifecycle activities and related trainings/certifications is expected.

Responsibilities

• Define and document concept of operations, requirements and use cases for system development.
• Perform high-level system design and specify performance and interface requirements.
• Develop installation, integration and acceptance test plans; coordinate with customers and teams.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field

Master's Degree in Engineering or relevant technical field

Doctoral Degree in Engineering or relevant technical field
