BCT LLC is seeking a System Administrator I to join our Enterprise Infrastructure Support team in Annapolis, MD. The role requires an active TS/SCI with POLY and involves delivering system administration solutions, creating BOMs and network designs, and working with cross-functional teams to meet capacity and user needs.

The candidate will configure Linux/Unix/Windows environments, manage VMware-based virtual servers, and assess power, space, cooling, and funding requirements to support mission

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher is required.
• 1+ year of experience in modern operating systems and network architectures.
• 1+ year of experience in certification, accreditation, architecture development and design, risk assessments and IA metrics gathering.
• Ability to optimize system operation and perform capacity planning.
• Ability to break down complex problem space, formulate technical strategies, build action plans, and track progress against baselines.
• Configuring and managing Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems and installing/loading OS software, troubleshooting, maintaining network component integrity, and implementing OS enhancements.
• Managing virtual servers through VMware or similar hypervisor products.

Responsibilities

• Provide system administration solutions to meet required capabilities and create bills of materials, network designs and diagrams, and other documentation for new and updated installations.
• Collaborate with network, storage, and server personnel to define new or modified solutions to complex problems.
• Respond to requests for new systems to meet capacity and user requirements; determine power, space, cooling, and funding to meet these goals.
