Job summary

BCT LLC is seeking a System Administrator I to join our team in Maryland. The ideal candidate will support enterprise infrastructure, create bills of materials, network designs and diagrams, and document deployments for new and updated installations.

TS/SCI with POLY clearance is required along with DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher. The role will work with network, storage and server staff to optimize operations, plan capacity, and ensure reliable performance across Linux, Unix, and Windows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and five years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Five years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required.
• Experience with Linux/Unix/Windows operating systems and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Provide system administration solutions for enterprise infrastructure and document deployments for new/updated installations.
• Create bills of materials, network designs and diagrams; collaborate with network, storage and server personnel to define solutions.
• Respond to capacity and user requirements; determine power, space, cooling, and funding to meet goals.
• Maintain and optimize system operation and resource utilization.
