Job summary

GDIT in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Systems Technician with TS/SCI and Polygraph to install, maintain and troubleshoot workstation hardware and related IT systems for government clients. The role is onsite in Northern Virginia with a 40-hour work week.

Requirements include HS/GED, 1+ years in IT operations, and eligibility for DoD IA certifications; Security+ CE preferred. This position offers growth opportunities and access to paid certifications.

Qualifications

• HS/GED, 1+ years of related IT operations support.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for employment; candidates must possess current clearance.
• DoD IA certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security are acceptable; Security+ CE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware.
• Screens, refers and diagnoses internal inquiries and work requests related to maintenance of PCs and related systems.
• Installs, configures, and upgrades computer hardware and software and provides end-user support.
• Coordinates development of deliverables and products and participates in administration of e-mail systems.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and participates in special projects as required.
