Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Systems Technician to support government client activities in Northern Virginia. The role involves hands-on maintenance of workstations, printers, KVMs, cabling, and related hardware, with strong focus on customer service and ticket-based support.

Qualified candidates will have HS/GED and 1+ years IT operations experience, hold TS/SCI with Polygraph, and have DoD IA certifications (Security+ CE preferred).

Qualifications

• HS/GED, 1+ years of IT operations support.
• Must possess TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Current DoD IA certifications; Security+ CE preferred.
• Privileged User access with enhanced security and monitoring.
• Strong customer service and hands-on hardware maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support for information systems hardware and software.
• Support Active Directory and Microsoft Outlook for end users.
• Triage, diagnose and resolve work requests and tickets.
• Coordinate with government client and teams on deliverables.
• Follow security and privileged access procedures, perform backups and updates.
