Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer in Herndon, VA to design, support, and secure Windows desktop and server environments. The role requires TS/SCI with poly, AD, GPO, Defender, and rapid security scan experience, with strong scripting and documentation skills.

You will automate tasks using PowerShell, maintain documentation, and assist Tier1/2 staff. This is a senior-level position with a competitive compensation package reflecting defense industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 11 years of relevant Systems Engineer experience with a BA/BS degree.
• Experience supporting Windows platform environments and AD/GPO services.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and effective written/verbal communication.
• Familiarity with cloud and collaboration tools such as Azure AD, M365.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, support, and troubleshoot Windows desktop and server OS.
• Support Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, and Defender usage.
• Troubleshoot Windows Server 2019 technologies and related services.
• Conduct and review Rapid 7 security scans.
• Automate tasks/configs with PowerShell.
• Document changes and maintain system documentation.
