Job summary

MANTECH in Laurel, MD is seeking a Senior Windows Engineer to join a diverse team delivering enterprise infrastructure for a national defense mission. This on-site role requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities include provisioning Windows servers, configuring networks and storage, deploying monitoring tools, performing root cause analysis, patching, and providing Tier 1–3 support. Preferred skills include PowerShell, SaltStack, VMware Horizon, and Centrify PAM to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience with Active Directory & GPO Administration.
• Experience with SaltStack for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with VMware virtualization and Horizon VDI deployments.
• Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) such as Centrify.

Responsibilities

• Provision, manage, and support Windows servers across networks.
• Configure network adapters, storage, firewalls, and core services.
• Deploy monitoring tools to detect system issues and prevent outages.
• Perform root cause analysis on outages and implement fixes.
• Support hardware, software, and appliance deployments, upgrades, and patching.
• Translate user requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide Tier 1–3 help desk support for client, server, and network issues.
• Manage OS patching, hardware maintenance, and account administration.
