Job summary

CO1002 CDW Government, LLC seeks a System Administrator to support Windows Server and desktop environments in a secure federal setting. You will manage Active Directory, patching, and security baselines while coordinating with cybersecurity, network, and engineering teams.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and 4+ years of enterprise IT experience. Experience with VMware/Hyper‑V and SCCM is a plus, with a focus on compliant processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is required at hire.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in systems administration or enterprise IT operations.
• Hands-on experience supporting Windows Server and Windows desktop environments.
• Experience with AD, DNS/DHCP, and Group Policy for enterprise environments.
• Experience with patching, software installation, and change management in secure settings.
• Familiarity with security and configuration baselines, logging, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server and Windows desktop systems across secure enterprise environments.
• Create, modify, and maintain AD users, groups, permissions, and OUs.
• Apply system patches and configuration changes per maintenance procedures.
• Assist with Group Policy management and workstation configuration.
• Monitor system health, review logs, respond to alerts, and escalate complex issues.
• Perform troubleshooting for common hardware, software, OS, authentication, and connectivity issues.
• Support vulnerability remediation activities and document remediation status.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and inventory records.
• Assist with backups, restore testing, and routine operational tasks.
• Coordinate with help desk, cybersecurity, network, and engineering teams to ensure secure operations.
