Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage enterprise systems in DoD/IC environments, ensuring security, availability, and performance across managed networks and endpoints. The role includes RMF lifecycle participation, STIG implementation, and collaboration with cybersecurity teams.

Candidates should have TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years of DoD/IC experience, and strong Windows Server/UNIX/Linux, AD/GP, and M365/Exchange/SharePoint expertise.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• 5+ years of DoD/IC systems administration experience.
• Strong Windows Server and UNIX/Linux administration knowledge; Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Experience supporting Client/server architectures and Enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with RMF (DoDI 8510.01), STIGs, DCSA standards, and patch/POA&M tracking.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Exchange, and SharePoint environments.
• Backup and recovery solutions and endpoint protection experience.
• Experience supporting classified IT environments.
• Willingness to support after-hours or on-call operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform system administration functions including user and administrator account management, privilege assignment, system performance tuning, and software installation.
• Administer desktop and server systems connected to LAN/WAN.
• Manage account monitoring, OS installation, security configuration, and system maintenance.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 incident identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Support RMF lifecycle activities and security authorization processes.
• Configure systems to meet DCSA STIGs and Group Policy requirements.
• Maintain Microsoft 365, Exchange, and SharePoint services.
• Assist in system migrations, deployments, and security documentation.
