Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to oversee cybersecurity and Information Assurance requirements for DoD/IC environments. You will lead A&A activities, maintain SSPs and POA&Ms, and coordinate with security teams and government representatives throughout the system life cycle.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in information assurance or cybersecurity, a TS/SCI clearance, and strong RMF knowledge, with a BS in a related technical field and applicable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Experience with RMF and IC/DoD cybersecurity policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cybersecurity and IA requirements for assigned systems.
• Ensure compliance with ICD 503, RMF and NIST controls.
• Prepare and manage A&A documentation (SSPs, SAPs, SARs, POA&Ms).
• Coordinate with IA and cybersecurity teams and government reps.
• Maintain system security posture and remediation of risks.
