Job summary

D2 Consulting is seeking a New System Administrator (Desktop Support) in St. Louis, MO with an ACTIVE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality end-user support, maintaining desktop environments, and ensuring reliable system operation for a government/intelligence customer. You will work with on-site and remote users, manage software/hardware configurations, and provide hands-on assistance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS (or equivalent experience) required.
• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or desktop support.
• Security+ or CASP certification preferred.
• ITIL v4 Foundations certification preferred.
• Experience with Windows desktop environments, VDI, and remote support.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent end-user support and maintain desktop systems.
• Coordinate upgrades and hands-on support for desktop environments.
• Assist on-site and remote users to resolve issues.
• Configure and maintain workstations, printers, and related hardware.
• Lead or assist small teams on projects; document work clearly.
• Maintain system backups, performance tuning, and security compliance.
