Job summary

BTS Software Solutions seeks a System Administrator (Levels II-III) to manage and troubleshoot IT systems supporting federal contracts. Primary location is Annapolis Junction, MD, with TS/SCI with Poly clearance requirements.

Role emphasizes Tier 1/2 support, UNIX/Windows system administration, and improving reliability and performance of IT infrastructure. Extensive experience in government programs is expected.

Qualifications

• Manage implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support with escalation handling.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and related network components.
• Assist users in accessing and using IT systems; communicate status to management.
