Visionist Inc. is seeking a Software Product Lead with active TS/SCI clearance to guide a critical software product on our PRIME contract.

You will lead engineering teams across the full software lifecycle, interfacing with customers and stakeholders to translate mission needs into robust technical solutions. You will drive architecture and automation initiatives, evaluate AI models and deployment options, and mentor diverse teams to deliver capabilities quickly while ensuring security and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
• 12 years of experience in software development
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams with diverse backgrounds
• Engagement with customers/end users to gather requirements and drive adoption
• Hands-on experience building/maintaining production applications servicing hundreds to thousands of users
• Production-grade software development in Python, Java, or similar language
• Ability to architect/deploy software systems from concept through production
• Experience with Git, Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with cloud/containerization: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices

Responsibilities

• Solicit requirements and architect an enterprise agentic platform
• Work with stakeholders, engineers, and cyber analysts to map operational workflows
• Evaluate AI models, deployment architectures, and infrastructure options
• Advise customers on AI investment strategies and resource use
• Stay current on AI technologies and promote adoption of innovations
• Conduct outreach and training to promote AI capabilities
• Lead multiple engineering teams: define requirements, develop solutions, assign work
• Lead from concept to production across the full lifecycle
