Job summary
Visionist, Inc. is seeking a Software Product Lead on our largest PRIME contract to guide an enterprise agentic platform and its critical software product.
You will blend hands-on technical leadership with staff management across the full software development lifecycle, from customer engagement to production sustainment, delivering high-impact capabilities for mission users. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
- 12 years of experience in software development
- Experience leading engineering teams
- Experience engaging with customers and end users to gather requirements and drive adoption
- Hands-on experience building production applications servicing hundreds to thousands of users
- Production-grade software development in Python, Java, or similar
- Ability to architect, develop, and deploy software from concept to production
- Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence
- Familiarity with cloud and containerization (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices
Responsibilities
- Solicit requirements and architect an enterprise platform to power autonomous workflows
- Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and cyber analysts to improve operational workflows
- Evaluate AI models, deployment architectures, and infrastructure options
- Advise customers on AI investment strategies and resource allocation
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies and best practices
- Conduct outreach and training to promote AI adoption
- Lead and coordinate multiple engineering teams and track execution
