Job summary

CyberTrend Engineering LLC in Annapolis Junction, Maryland seeks a Software Engineer with TS/SCI with Poly clearance to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including analytics, real-time processing, and large data handling. The role involves working solo or in teams, reviewing tests, and addressing software issues.

A bachelor’s degree in CS or related field is required, or 4 years of SWE experience as a substitute, with strong Java, MapReduce, and cloud experience valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated experience with Java, MapReduce, and Cloud is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements; document results.
• Resolve software problem reports and contribute to software design and trade-off decisions.
• Provide input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs and reuse of COTS/GOTS.
